The sweeter competitor to Dark chocolate. It was invented by Sir Hans Sloane but wasn’t commercially available until the early 1900s. Milk chocolate was a big thing not only because of its was new but because of its nutritional qualities. This type of chocolate is made with less cocoa than Dark chocolate but has more added milk, sugar, and cream. Hints the name Milk Chocolate. Because of its ingredients it has a smooth texture and consistency. Milk Chocolate is my favorite type of chocolate because it doesn’t have a burnt taste like Dark chocolate does.
