Hershey were released in 1907. Manufacturing of this product was initially done by hand up until 1921. Thats when machines started mass production of Hershey kisses. This foil wrapped chocolate was used as a present war soldiers during World War 2. More than 60 million Kisses are produced daily. The type of chocolate used for this candy is milk chocolate.
